Hehe perhaps. The first one is still the best one. Best case for you right now is to pick up newer movies that are released in 4K, in 4K so you don't have to upgrade in the future. For the blu-rays you own just wait until they drop to $15 or less for a new copy and then pick them up.
So yes, Blu-ray is better, but not by so much that they're essential for everyone – and for how long will it boast the edge? Blu-ray disc quality, the entire encode/decode process, is set
Yes, UHD is worth it. Upgrading discs in your collection will be up to whether you think it’s worth it and if the transfer is worth the upgrade. But between the sharper image, brighter highlights and more accurate colors, I’m glad I made the leap. 8. BipityBopityZopity • 4 yr. ago.
The Panasonic DP-UB9000 is the company's latest flagship 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray player. Hailed as a potential 'Oppo-killer' when first announced, Panasonic must have been delighted with Oppo's announcement that it was ceasing production of its hugely popular UDP-203 and UDP-205 players. Oppo's departure was entirely its decision and had nothing to

4K Ultra HD Blu-ray Playback. The UDP-203 is the first Ultra HD Blu-ray player from Oppo and it didn't disappoint, delivering a near flawless performance with the new 4K disc format. We have read reports of various playback issues with the player when it was first released but as is always the case with Oppo, the company was quick to respond

Video Review. 4.5 Stars out of 5. Tropic Thunder has arrived on 4K with Dolby Vision/HDR10 from Paramount and Kino Lorber Studio Classics. The new 2160p UHD 4K image was supervised by Ben Stiller himself. Now there are two discs included here, one is the 4K Disc and the other is the 1080p Blu-ray Disc. Optically composited shots have a slight generation loss in resolution and detail, but on the whole the first film quite good indeed, and very much improved from the 25th anniversary edition Blu-ray release. The HDR has also expanded the contrast, deepening the blacks and adding a little more pop to the highlights. The House of the Dragon: The Complete First Season Steelbook 4K Ultra HD + Blu-ray + Digital Copy is a limited collectible and comes in at $59.99. The standard edition without the physical

Disney plus has excellent bandwidth for 4k resolution and Dolby Atmos display by comparison to other streaming services. But the 4k discs will always be totally lossless. 24. Dr-McLuvin. • 2 yr. ago. To be fair the image on a disc isn’t typically “lossless.”. There’s always some compression of the video.
