It is not simply showing 'no fuel' the whole region is blank. On ignition the display works fine and displays the classic fuel gauge filling from empty to fullthen it vanishes. I have tried scrolling through the menus to see if I have accidently blanked the display area but it is not one of the personalisation options.
I would encourage you to not allow an experience with one dealer to sour your relationship with the Citroen brand. I had MASSIVE problems with the dealership that sold me my VTS. They stuffed me around continually and refused to fix issues under warranty. I became quite disillusioned with the brand and felt I would not purchase Citroen again.
Only buttons are configurable (touch buttons that is). So if you have satnav and the screen comes from the similar car, it will work right away. To flush the whole system do the following: Remove the feed hose before the "T" (under the bonnet) and run the pump for 5-10 seconds. Reconnect the hose to the "T" and disconnect both outlets. Run the pump and observe if both sides give the same amount of water. Reconnect the two hoses to the "T" and disconnect them from the jets.
A few days later the touchscreen (radio, climate controls etc) got stuck on the screen indicating the clutch needs to be pressed. Even when the clutch was pressed and when driving, that screen remained and there was no fan or radio control available. The fans were also not on.

Things have started to go wrong, one of those being the Panoramic roof blind has stopped working. There is a little light on, but not opening and no noise. As far as I can tell fuse is okay.
We have just bought a 2017 C4 Picasso Flair. I have tried to get the sat nav to display on the big screen (it works fine on the 7” screen), and using the button on the end of the stalk worked out how I’m supposed to do it but it just shows a black screen with the message “Area not mapped” please can anyone tell me what I’m doing wrong 😁 🤞

After switching from cruisecontrol to regulator and back (with the little wheel on the steeringwheel) it works perfectly again.. But after a bit of rotating of that little wheel to remove any dust or corrosion (as adviced here) for the last 2 weeks the cruisecontrol works perfectly again.. But most anoying is the horn that doesn't work at all
